  • "Mastered" the Clutch Flag, any other good body-weight achievments?

Well I have managed a clutch flag and I was wondering if anyone else has any good body weight achievements they would like to share.

Wicked! I've never tried that version, will have to give it a go
How does it rate in difficulty compared to the full straight arm flag?

I can get a straight arm flag for about half a second ;-)

I can manage around 10s a side in this version but I am improving about 2s every few days.

I am following Convict Conditioning 2 to get a full push flag. I am still at level one the support press which I can hold for about 5s. The push flag puts a lot more stress on the shoulders. I think Al Kaladlo recomends being able to do 10 perfect form handstand pushups to do the flag the way he does and hold it so I have a ways to go. I would say the press flag is harder but the clutch flag is a great stepping stone and really works the core and posterior chain.

Nice photo! Congrats on your achievement, Dirlot. Welcome to the world of bad-assery.

The full flag is MUCH harder. For those interested, I've got a new human flag article coming out on T-Nation in the next week or so.
