    If I read it right, very low calorie diets and regular exercise both accomplish at least one thing in common - "recycling" of the bodies own weaker cells. This may be a contributing factor to longevity.

    In all of the universe there is only one person with your exact charateristics. Just like there is only one person with everybody else's characteristics. Effectively, your uniqueness makes you pretty average.

      Very low calorie diets and exercise are kind of mutually exclusive. I'll always opt for exercise personally.
      F 5 ft 3. HW: 196 lbs. Primal SW (May 2011): 182 lbs (42% BF)... W June '12: 160 lbs (29% BF) (UK size 12, US size 8). GW: ~24% BF - have ditched the scales til I fit into a pair of UK size 10 bootcut jeans. Currently aligning towards 'The Perfect Health Diet' having swapped some fat for potatoes.

        Very Low Calorie Diet plan should always be done along with proper exercise. This ensures reduction of excess weight in quick time. But a specialist should be consulted before going through VLCD.
