I really dislike machines....first day in my weight lifting class that we get to try out the machines and establish a program. I am thinking the 5x5 protocol looks good? Need to be able to assess the #weight# better though... In the 5x5, what is the count usually? My teacher gave us a general count of 3-1-4.
