      • Forum was down quite a bit Thurs/Fri/Weekend, so first update chance I got...

        Feb 9 - 1.5 miles
        Feb 10 - 1.5 miles
        Feb 11 - 0.5 miles
        Feb 12 - 0.5 miles

        YTD -- 87.6 miles (141.0K)

        My walking mileage is taking a bit more of a hit as I'm finding it harder to get extra walking in as my training runs get longer for the April Half I'm running. Also, the weekend was beautiful weather again, so I did more "play" and just plain old enjoying the sun - while it lasts! Still, I need to do better on my walking mileage...
        Re-focusing on the Primal Lifestyle in 2012!

        Starting: 221.0lb, 29.5% BF (1/9/2012)
        Latest: 208.9, 26.1% BF (3/19/2012)

        • Finally managed to get a decent walk on Sunday but couldn't access this site to post.

          Sunday 12th Feb another 8 km.

          YTD 95km
          Original Goal: To lose weight. Achieved in March 2010
          Long Term Goals: To continue using Primal guidlines to improve fitness and health. To share the Primal message.

            • I enjoyed a very sunny 8 km walk on Saturday ... update in sig.
              F 5 ft 3. HW: 196 lbs. Primal SW (May 2011): 182 lbs (42% BF)... W June '12: 160 lbs (29% BF) (UK size 12, US size 8). GW: ~24% BF - have ditched the scales til I fit into a pair of UK size 10 bootcut jeans. Currently aligning towards 'The Perfect Health Diet' having swapped some fat for potatoes.

                    • Hey all...I just stumbled across this 1,000 km slow movement challenge. I'm a newbie (again) but I am committed to eating primal, getting healthy, blah blah blah...if you care about details, read my journal. But I think this is an awesome idea. I figured out that I would have to walk 3.11 km a day to make 1,000 by the end of 2012. So, I'm going to try, and see how far I get. Near as I can figure without a pedometer, I walked 3.22 kilometers tonight. 2 miles in the US of A. I took a map of my neighborhood, made a dot where my home is, drew a line from my home to the library, which is about 1 mile (1.6 km). and drew a big circle, 2.12 km in diameter, with my home in the center. Conveniently, all the places I like to visit/shop in my neighborhood are on the edge of that circle...the co-op where I buy my organic veg and & grass fed meat. The local book & art supply stores, the library, the cemetery, which is a lovely place to read on nice days plus Bruce & Brandon Lee are buried there. As I get fitter/stronger I'm sure my distances will increase. I have plans for playing on the lake this summer.

                        • Sometimes finding an hour in the day seems impossible, but as far as I can tell, this seems like a great reason to try. Count me in!
                          Went grain free Oct 2011 and now Feb 2012, going for Primal.

                              • Took a little tumble off the scooter today...Put down the cell phone & use your turn signals next time, a@@hole! Forgoing my walk today to rest up a sore knee. BTW, if you have a bump on your leg and it looks sore, don't poke it to see if it really is sore. Trust your eyes. It's frickin' sore. Sometimes my stupidity amazes even me.
