            A combination yesterday of an out of town trip, Avatar in 3D, lots of food (all primal of course) and alcohol afterwards, and an early morning session of Kali wasn't conducive to me creating the thread. Thanks Jess!


            So yeah, today's WOD. 1.5 hours of Kali/Kendo sparring/Samurai Sword Training.

              What'd you think of Avatar? I thought it was pretty cliche...Some recreational substances were definitely necessary to get through that whole film haha


              WOD:

              Yoga today, since I spent yesterday shopping for 3 hours to get a jacket and boots...With no luck

                I thought the visual effects and 3D in Avatar were pretty phenominal. The story, meh. It reminded me of Pochahontas. I brought my son with me to see it and he thought it was pretty great! The story has been done many times over in many movies, it was just wrapped up in a neat little 3D package.

                    @jess lol oh i don't really mind it. to be honest i'd much rather run on the ole mill than go outside when it's in the teens!

                      Misa.. Man, I'd get tired of running all the time! Even when or if I go for a run, I've got to have obstacles to play with... Curbs to jump off of, potholes to leap over, etc..


                      Kurtis, completely agree.. Found out in my mass communications class today that that movie is "up there" right under the success of Titanic. Go figure!


                      WOD:

                      Nature walk and biking... Waking up early again has made me super lazy! And I got a new book to delve into... Anybody read Ishmael? My buddy said it was a mind F.

                            3 by 5 strict press


                            then 4 rounds:

                            15 burpees

                            15 pullups

                            100ft walking lunges

                              I went back to the gym!!!


                              Walking/ sprinting session on multiple inclines for 30 minutes.


                              Tomorrow, will be weights! I love weights, but it's been so long that I will be so SORE for the next couple of days...Ugggh!!!
