    I've never been a runner. Today at Crossfit, the workout was a 5K! They said theyd it once a year so that you can se that you dont have to be a runner to improve your time. Just do Crossfit and your 5K will get better...

    I figured if I finished to the halfway point, I'd be good. I was NOT looking forward to it, and almost skipped it.

    I surprised myself by completing the whole thing, beating everyone, including all the young people (I'm 51) and I wasn't even winded and could hold a normal conversation even as I came to the finish. My recovery time was about 0. My time was 26:40

    I don't intend to make a habit of running, but I had no idea I had it in me.

    I guess that's what 5 years of primal and a few months of Crossfit will do for you!

    So, just for today, I am made of awsome!

    Attaboy, Dave!!! Congratulations from another 50-something! I am also not a runner, but with inspiration like this, perhaps a 5k is in my future! Way to go, bro!
