  • Burger King Hill

You see this bad boy right here? It leads to a Burger King.

This is about 200 yards from my home. I could barely climb it with a slow walk a couple of months ago. I used to drive up it ... to get a Whopper! LOL!

Today, I ran up it ... twice! You can tell that it's kinda steep from the 'drag marks' where the tractor-trailers carve grooves into the pavement from pulling in and out.

Now that may not seem like much to those of you who have been running for a while ... but to me, it is just another in a string of victories since beginning the PB a couple of weeks ago.

And remember ... my health history is in my sig!

And here is my RunKeeper log for today.

        Awesome!

Never be apologetic over your accomplishments. The spirit of the endeavor is to be the best you that you can be. Keep up the good work and be sure to come back and brag. You have no idea what an inspiration you can be for others.

          Awesome.

Soon you'll be doing 6-8 sprints up it... then you'll start timing it and trying to beat your times... then you will suddenly wake up with abs

Good job. I wish I had a hill like that nearby.

Man, I got hills on hills down here! LOL! I live in ... yep, you guessed ... Woodland HILLS!! And we've got one bad boy (that I call Everest) that I intend to tackle within the next 6 months. My car even downshifts to low gear driving up it! I can walk it, but it's difficult. But 'Everest' better watch out .. he's in my sights. LOL!
