  • HIIT for someone who can't run/sprint or ride a bike?

Due to years of cycling and the onset of a nerve disease I am unable to either run or bike.

any ideas? Or am i just out of luck.

Water aerobics. If necessary in the deep end with a belt. It's not just for fat old ladies.

Sledgehammer smashes. I did 2 Tabata intervals of those this past weekend and it had me gasping for air. They're good for avoiding high impact on the legs, since you're standing in place.

are your limitations just biking and running?
if so, you can try burpees, jumping jacks, jumping rope

if you have more limitations, look at kb swings, c2rower, and definitely get in the water.
