  • I'm in the woods, now what????

    Hey everyone,

I've just arrived at my summer job at a resort in Upper Michigan that is 20,000 acres in pristine forest and has 14 lakes to which i can go and row boats on. Anyways..... i'm here all summer and plan on doing some serious primal exercise; however, i'm not sure how is the best way to workout one's legs. I don't have a gym anymore so how do I do workout the calves and other leg/back muscles while being surrounded in the middle of the woods.... literally in the woods....? I've got the upper body stuff working for me so far. I've found some cool rocks to lift and through around, tree branches to try and do pull-ups on. This is kind of as grok as it gets for me. As an added bonus, I can go rowing on the lakes up here anytime I want, so that makes good exercise.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!!!!!

What about box jumps (use a rock or a sturdy log)?

Hill sprints, mountain sprints. Swimming! Squat big boulders and logs, and bears and such. All of that. I am so jealous.
If you are new to the PB - please ignore ALL of this stuff, until you've read the book, or at least http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-blueprint-101/ and this (personal fave): http://www.archevore.com/get-started/

              Sex.
In all of the universe there is only one person with your exact charateristics. Just like there is only one person with everybody else's characteristics. Effectively, your uniqueness makes you pretty average.

do you propose a bear or tree for that option?

                yeah you are

Baby if you time travel back far enough you can avoid that work because the dust won't be there. You're too pretty to be working that hard.

I agree squatting with rocks and/or logs. We had to squat with logs in track in it was one helluva work out.

Try being chased by a bear. The object isn't to out run the bear... just the person beside you.
