  • Help with Moving Frequently at a Slow Pace

    Hey everyone
New here -- I have a ton of workout dvds that I truly love and wondered if you could help me categorize them into the right areas. I'm hoping several of them will fit into the "move frequently" category.

    Turbo Fire
    Walk away the pounds (obvious)
    Hip Hop Abs
    Zumba
    Dance with Julianne: Cardio Ballroom
    Carmen Electra
    Pussy Cat Dolls Workout
    Tracy Anderson Method Mat Workout
Carmen Electra's Advanced Aerobic Strip Tease
    Jillian's 30 Day Shred
    Shiva Rea's Yoga Shatki

    Thanks so much!

    Shiva Rea's Yoga Shatki

I don't know about the others but I have this one and it's awesome. I wouldn't classify it as either but I'd work this one in once a week for sure. 2 strength, 1 sprint and 1 of the 90min ones and your golden.

I have an hour lunch at work and I walk all around the city during it...

Not running... just walking... in the end it's about 2.5 miles a day of walking... I put on my headphones and listen to music and enjoy the weather!

Leisurely walking is moving at a slow pace. Yoga and/or pilates could work as well and those can be considered play as well. I walk on breaks at work.

Sounds lovely! I have the walking part down -- and love it. Just want to be able to switch it up a bit.

Hmm I think I'll categorize yoga as play hours. I work from home, so I think I may start walking after lunch.

Get out and get your Vitamin D fix via osmosis and walk walk walk!

Monday, if the weather's good, I'm doing my first "chocolate walk" of the season. It's where I walk 3 miles to my favorite bakery, The Chocolate (don't worry, they have a fruit tart, I can just have the fruit, lol), then a few more miles to Amano chocolate, then home. It's 6 miles round trip.

Later this month or next I will walk 5+ miles to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and 5 miles back. (mmm, chocolate apple)

Now THAT'S moving frequently, SLOWLY (esp with a belly full of chocolate)
