    A 28 lb toddler?

This is an older pic (note the not-so-primal gut spillage above the band ). I think he was only about 25 lbs then, but I wear him like this on a pretty regular basis, can't wait til I'm fit enough to need extra weight during workouts, this will do quite nicely!

    oh jeez haha that's adorable
    beautiful
    yeah you are

Baby if you time travel back far enough you can avoid that work because the dust won't be there. You're too pretty to be working that hard.

I went for a 1.5mi walk with my 36lb 3.5yo on my back in a wrap. Best workout ever. I was so tired, and he had so much fun.

        Very cute.

Whenever I want to kill my traps, I'll throw my 35lb toddler up on my shoulders and walk around for a while. Then I hold her in one arm so she's sitting on my hip (which really isn't much to sit on since I'm a guy)...this becomes an awesomely painful isometric bicep exercise after about 5 minutes. Yeah, toddlers can definitely help keep you fit!

who needs a kettlebell too! I grab my toddler by the torso (he is 35lbs.), and do kettlebell swings, overhead presses, then put him on my shoulders and do squats. He loves it! Great pic and cute kid by the way. =)

I love carrying ds around in my ergo!!! What I really need to figure out is how to carry both dd and ds! I've got several woven wraps I could do a back carry w/dd and wear ds in the front...If I did that That would be almost 60lbs of heaving lifting!

ds is currently 24lbs and change... dd is 28lbs and 2yrs older than her little brother (Who's quite the Moose!) On Saturday we went for a family hike at the local nature center...saw 6 deer, frogs, fishes ect... ended up being out for a little over an hr but it was soo much fun!

We've used a moby wrap with our daughter since she was born and still use it all the time now at 8 months.
                    Things I like:
Both wife and I can use the same wrap
                    Multiple positions
Can be used as a cover for feeding
                    stuffs into any shape

My wife actually was doing a stair workout with the baby, where she would do 40 up/dwn cycles on the stairs with her in the moby. It seemed like a pretty good workout and our daughter loved it.

I try to borrow one from the neighbor but they called the police on me.

I actually made the carrier myself, but it's similar in style to an Ergo or Beco carrier. Thanks for the compliments, I think he's a cute kid too! I may have to try kettlebell swings when I'm a little stronger!

Carrying my baby around this way would really be a workout. She's 18. But when she was younger, I had an LLBean kiddie backpack and I hiked all over the country with her, loving every moment. Last weekend she was down from college and she and I went hiking and loved every minute of it. Not only is it great exercise, it's a great way to instill the love of nature in our kids.
