Is it a bad thing that I don't have the foggiest idea who Tracy Anderson is?

        That vid is freaking awesome!

Those women have the genetics to pack on the muscle to allow them to lift that heavy... not the same.

Honestly, its a personal opinion, but these women dont look that "bulky" to me! They have shape, tone and mass. And contrary to our society's current version of what is considered attractive...they are muscular and not twigs. I'll say one thing, it must be my genes talking but I find them 1000 times more attractive than the stick figures that are pushed as "hot" in the media. Gimme them strong like bull!!!

I may be wrong but I detected a hint of irony/sarcasm from Batty there? I think just maybe she is a leeeetle fed up of hearing from women how they don't want to lift heavy because they will get bulky. These fit, athletic and not bulky looking women are proof that women can lift heavy without looking like Arnie with boobs

Tracy Anderson is trainer to the STARS! She's trained Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jennifer Anniston. She famously said in this video from the Oprah show "No woman should lift more than 3 pounds."

I'd love to lift 167 lbs without breaking like a twig! Duly inspired!

Those girls are never going to look like Gwyneth Paltrow if they keep lifting like that. Don't they know they're not supposed to lift more than three pounds EVER?!

seriously, when i was lifting weights back in the day -- like nearly 10 years ago -- i could deadlift 15-20 lbs over bodyweight, squat around the same (squating is not my strong suit due to leverages), and blah blah blah. . .

well, anyway, i would lift, and invariably have people say "i don't like women who are bulky." but, i was 118lbs and size 2. and i didn't look bulky. heck, i didn't even look muscular (i was probably about 20% body fat). so, like WTF were they talking about? confusing.

anyway, not interested in this anymore -- interested in other things -- but it's fun to move the body.
