  • Tri-Max/Isokenitic work out

    Just curious if anyone here has a Tri-Max or is old enough to remember
    them? The Isokentic concept is nothing new but the Tri-max made it's
    debut in the early 80's. Supposedly a big majority of the Texas Fire
    Departments adopted this machine as well. I've had mine almost 25
    years and it's still serving me.

    For me Isokentic work outs break up the monotony of weights. It attacks
    the full range of motion. It's really a muscle pumper because it's
    bi-directional and attacks both push and pull muscle groups at the
    same time. I know it's made me almost pass out several times.
    Just curious if anyone experienced this type of workout and
    what they think.
