  • Primal and High Intensity Exercise

    I've gotten back on the paleo diet, but this time I've been going even lower on the carbs than before, not eating any fruit at all (except blueberries). I think I've gone for about 3 weeks now without a single cheat.

    I started a crossfit seminar this week and have been doing some really high-intensity exercises, but what I was suprised about is that the carb restriction hasn't effected me at all.

    I do the same thing. I do a lot of HIIT and sprint workouts with VLC. Like you the only fruits I normally consume is blueberries. I have been doing this for over a year with no negative issues so far.

    People say I am on a "crazy" diet. What is so crazy about eating veggies, fruits, seafood and organ meats? Just because I don't eat whole wheat and processed food doesn't make my diet "crazy". Maybe everyone else with a SAD are the "crazy" ones for putting that junk in their system.
