  • Fookin' 'ell!! What's wrong with me ticker...?

Just strapped me HRM belt on, flicked to HR mode - apparently my RHR is 132!!!!

Wot's that all about then...? I'm only going round the woods and to the store - why does me heart think I'm nervous about that...?!

    Three possibilities come to mind...

Didn't you mention agoraphobia? Maybe you're more nervous than you know?

You've only recently started eating decently. Maybe it'll take a while to feel the benefits?

Maybe there's something wrong with the monitor?

Seems to me none of those would be anything to worry about.

By the sounds of things you're not actually resting. If you want to discover your RHR, take your heart rate lying in bed after a good nights' sleep, you might even refrain from exercise the day prior to doing so - this would give a much clearer indication of your RHR.

      Hope this helps.

True, it is supposed to be "resting" heart rate, not "going round the woods and to the store" heart rate... Hmm, would that be GRTWATTSHR?

Did you check your pulse manually with your hand to make sure the device was accurate?

That was the rate before I left, Jen. Hil, I take 400mg theanine every day. Agoraphobia's nothing to me anymore.

Happy, happy, happy all of the time - Suntheanine, I'm doing fine...(bit of Ramones paraphrasing there...)

No, I have to admit I didn't, but I've never had a Polar let me down before.
