    Hihi,
    Average working stiff here. It's been about 18 months since I left my personal nightmare dimension of and gas station pastries, organic macaroni, and treadmills. I lost about 75 lb. over the course of reading Gary Taubes and William Davis but I really dig Mark's book for the idea that this whole thing can be optimistic and stress reducing (other books get a little dire).

    Looks like there's a lot of great info here!

          since the mid 80s

          I was a competitor in a weight category sport and I had to get shredded to make weight - low carb, high fat was the only way to get down to very low body fat levels needed
