How Primal are you: Still eat dairy and could definitely step up the workouts/activities by a lot.

Do you consume dairy: Yes, but only cheese and butter and trying to be more selective of the types of cheese I buy.

Do you drink coffee or tea: Both, unsweetened tea and black coffee of course (mostly organic).

        Favorite exercise: Walking.

Favorite Primal food: SoG's (almost) primal poppers.

Best part about being Primal: Eating as much as I want of the right things and not feeling deprived or hungry all the time. Also the super fast results and the looks on people's faces when they haven't seen you in a while.

Worst part about being Primal: The absence of pizza and beer from my life hahaha. Also not being able to go out to eat just anywhere with friends, but it's worth the sacrifice.

How Primal are you: I would say about 85%. More most days, less on a select few (love that fruit).

Do you consume dairy: ...yes. But I have just altered my share to be less milk and more cream, so overall less dairy. Sigh.

Do you drink coffee or tea: I cup of each per day, with stevia and cream.

Motivator for switching to Primal: Honestly, looks, energy and health. I ate really healthy before, but I knew I could do better (ie no grains). Im not very overweight but I have a few to lose, and I do feel A LOT better now with no grains.

Favorite exercise: Playing. Hiking, biking and garden/housework. And dancing, haha.

Favorite Primal food: All the veggies! I am eating lower protein right now b/c all I do is study (Ill up it when Im working out for real) but I eat my veg primarily raw, so I get creative! Its fun and yummy.

Best part about being Primal: Feeling great, [eventually] looking good and having energy. Everything tastes sweeter not that I dont eat sweets, so a little goes a LONG way now. Awesome!

Worst part about being Primal: NO SCONES! No grainy, rustic bread, no more homemade pastas, no steel cut oats, no cookie dough. Its alright though, I still cheat a little bit every few weeks so I dont go nuts!

Life on Earth may be punishing, but it includes an annual free trip around the sun!

Do you drink coffee or tea: Yeah, decaf coffee occasionally (still bitter about giving up regular coffee) and usually 2 cups of tea (green, white, or herbal).

Motivator for switching to Primal: fat loss and building strength/agility

                        Favorite exercise: hapkido

Do you consume dairy: Yes, some cheeses, organic keifer, yougurt now and then.

Do you drink coffee or tea: Jasmins Green Tea is my 1st choice, I LOVE it.

Motivator for switching to Primal: Better Health, fat loss and building strength.

                          Favorite exercise: Speed Walking

Favorite Primal food: Berries & Nuts

Best part about being Primal: Having the knowledge that I do about food. Fat Free is what everyone is into but there still FAT. Living in Ohio I see soo many obese folks it gets me sick. If only folks knew the truth about foods like we do.

Worst part about being Primal: At times it's hard when you go to someone's house that has garbage for food and they want you to partake in it with them.

Here in town we don't have a Trader Joe's or Whole Foods so I go up to Ann Arbor Michigan once a month for some shopping.

How Primal are you: 70% or so...

Do you consume dairy: yep, mainly full-fat unsweetened Greek yogurt, occasional splashes of whole milk in my coffee.

Do you drink coffee or tea: Yes, two cups of coffee each morning.

Motivator for switching to Primal: Reading the Crossfit nutrition forums and Good Calories, Bad Calories last year.

                            Favorite exercise: http://www.crossfit603.com

                            Favorite Primal food: MEAT!

Worst part about being Primal: I have major ice cream and craft beer weaknesses.

More about me: Started eating mostly Primal late last summer (2008), and noted that when I was super-strict about it, weight melted away like nothing (7 pounds in one week), and when I was slack I would at least maintain and not gain back. I liked the idea of a generalized approach to life rather than a diet plan, too. And I like bucking CW!

                              Your location: Sandhills, NC

                              Age (If you want): 33

How Primal are you: currently 70-75% due to travel/job, I have a goal to be 90-95% when I can.

Do you consume dairy: Yes, yogurt, a little cheese and occasionally milk in a latte.

Do you drink coffee or tea: Tea, almost daily. Coffee, once or twice a month.

Motivator for switching to Primal: Desire to be healthier, fitter and happier. It just makes sense to me.

Favorite exercise: Long, slow distance running and row machine.

Favorite Primal food: Eggs, roast turkey and blueberries.

Best part about being Primal: Knowing that I am working with my body not against it. Also, the results I have already been enjoying from just a 70% primal diet for the past several years. I had given up “white” carbs about three years ago (rice, pasta, white bread, potatoes). I still continued to have brown rice, whole grain bread and pasta until about six months I gave it all up. I still have dairy, but not every day. I have lost 25 pounds in the past six months from exercise and healthy (almost) primal diet.

Worst part about being Primal: Wanting to share primal lifestyle and benefits with family and close friends and meeting resistance. Luckily the more they see me and hear about my successes, they are coming around.

Do you drink coffee or tea: Yes. 2 cups tea in the morning, or 1 cup tea/1 cup coffee.

Motivator for switching to Primal: Intriguing way of looking at things. Read Mark's interview in the "Rivendell Reader" and thought, "Now there's a great idea. That is something that I could handle, NOT being on a plan or a regimented schedule." It just made sense. Biggest motivator is that I only have 1 goal: lose weight ... that's it. I'll have other goals as I move along, but for now I'll stick with only 1. Life is busy enough with work and family.
