How Primal are you: Minus a beer or two on Thursday night (Softball) I am totally primal Sunday through Friday. Saturdays I let myself go a bit without eating the hardcore junk. After about of month doing this I do feel the effects of those Saturdays on Sundays - ala the carb rollercoater - so I would say my habits are getting a little cleaner. I would say i am around 80%.

Do you consume dairy: Yes. Mainly cheese and cottage cheese.

Do you drink coffee or tea: Yes. More now since I don't drink pop or juice anymore.

Motivator for switching to Primal: I want to feel good on a consistent basis and sick of all the diets i've done in the past. this one just makes the most sense.

Favorite exercise: Squats... and Playing guitar and singing (if that counts)

      Favorite Primal food: Any steak!

Best part about being Primal: Feel good!

Worst part about being Primal: Hard to say right now!

Do you drink coffee or tea: Yes, I'm addicted to my big mug of coffee in the morning, and sometimes in the afternoon.

Motivator for switching to Primal: To be healthier, have more energy and build muscle.

Favorite exercise: Lots of favorites! I've been doing Crossfit for about a year and love it -- also love to get out hiking and running with my dogs.

              • Greetings everyone! I'll be short and sweet with this.

                Your location: San Diego

                Age (If you want): 27

How Primal are you: Somewhere between "perfect" and "good enough," i.e. 75% - 90%.

Motivator for switching to Primal: Started researching the biological / historical diet of humans looking to improve my health. I was expecting something resembling a raw vegan diet (just like so many others have told me). Wound up on BeyondVeg. Paradigm shift. Found MDA in the process.

                  • Hello there! We are almost going thru the same journey. I too just completed my first round of HCG injections. I am having an extremely hard time staying at my LIW. I am hoping this style of eating will help me. The vagueness of the rules is difficult for me cause I'm used to seeing food lists. From the lists I just pick what I like and make my meals and snacks.

                    More later......
