How Primal are you: 4 days in and sick of eggs for breakfast already!

Do you consume dairy: Not at the moment.

Do you drink coffee or tea: Black Coffee, some green tea.

    Favorite Primal food: Meat

Best part about being Primal: Too early to tell.

Worst part about being Primal: Not craving foods just yet, but need to find some alternatives quickly, breakfast so far has been eggs eggs and more eggs.

    • Hi, everyone! I am brand new to this. I have a baby, who just hit 15 months. We still breastfeed, so I'm interested to see how easily my body will let go of unwanted fat. For the most part, we are hippies. We grow our veggies, and have our own eggs. I make our cleaning products naturally as well as our soaps. I decided it's finally time to try to get my body back. I have attached two photos of what I'm starting with. I know I'm going to need major support when it comes to the "B-word" (bread). I LOVE baking bread : /. Thanks for your help in advance!

p.s. I really like running. Please don't make me stop, lol. photo (2).jpgphoto (1).jpg

How Primal are you: Trying to be as primal as possible. I eat a bit too much dairy I think, to be 100%. Hard to give up cheese...

Do you consume dairy: Well, yes.

Do you drink coffee or tea: Both, but in rather moderate quantities.

Motivator for switching to Primal: Tried it once before and felt great, but slipped up and got back to eating grains. Have tried LCHF and GI and it just doesnīt give me the same energy boost as Primal. I donīt wanna be thin and tired, Iīd rather be fat and full of energy! Luckily, with primal I donīt have to choose.

Favorite exercise: running. Currently working towards my 10 km race in september.

        Favorite Primal food: Almond butter

Best part about being Primal: The boost in energy, the feeling of happiness and calm.

Worst part about being Primal: unsupportive relatives who loves their grains.

How Primal are you: Just finished Beach Body's Ulitmate Reset and feel great. Thought I'd transition into Paleo to maintain my health

Do you consume dairy: Not since I started the reset

Do you drink coffee or tea: Both

Motivator for switching to Primal: I felt so good on the reset (mood, energy, etc) I think it must have to do with eating a clean diet. This seemed like the next logical step to maintain.

                  Favorite exercise: Running

Any advice or information for a newbie would be great. There is FAR too much info on this website to take in all at once.

How Primal are you: In my first week of 21-Day Transformation. Have completed 2 Whole 30s and aborted many attempted Whole 30s. Generally probably 90% but when I slip, I fall hard.

Do you consume dairy: Yes--ghee, butter and occasional cheese

Do you drink coffee or tea: Both

Motivator for switching to Primal: Primary motivator is weight. I am back up in the clothes-don't-fit zone. But I get good results with arthritis, headaches and asthma, so it's probably a no-brainer to tighten the reins.

Favorite exercise: Cycling, but my bike is on the other side of the world, so walking, running and yoga are all equal good friends.

I am focused on fat loss right now and need to find the will to start fasting again. Here to gather strength from the rest of the pack.

                        • I live in Idaho (woohoo)
                          I am 31
I have been Primal for about 3 years 70/30 in the past, but am now about 95/5. (Wine is my 5 )
I do eat dairy, probably too much.
I love coffee, again, probably too much.
I switched to primal because it felt right. I knew the way we have been eating for the last 50-60 years with all the "recommendations" was killing us.
I love lifting weights, but have had a lot of babies and neck issues the past couple years. Just discovered wake skating though.
My favorite food is butternut squash lasagna. From the Primal cravings cookbook!!!!!! (which made my cry happiness the first time I looked through it)
Best part is the food and ease of preparing most of it. It's real food!
Worst part=? Maybe that I can't lose the last 20lbs after having my 5th child 3 months ago. It won't budge an inch despite being very primal.

Your location: Somewhere in the US

                            Age (If you want): 20-something

How Primal are you: scale of 1-10, an 8

                            Do you consume dairy: yes

Do you drink coffee or tea: no

Motivator for switching to Primal: To gain health. I've been overweight and out of shape for most of my life. I started working out this past March and I'm starting to see some results. I'm headed in the right direction and eating Primal is a big factor in all of that.

                            Favorite exercise: push ups

Favorite Primal food: steak and eggs

Best part about being Primal: Having energy to get up and do things. Before I went Primal, I was sluggish despite eating a fairly clean, low carb diet. Since going Primal 4 months ago, I have felt great (except for when I fall off the wagon). No more brain fog, no more cravings for crap, and I've lost over 30 lbs.

Worst part about being Primal: There is not anything bad about being Primal to me. I do miss beer, but not much.

How Primal are you: I'm just starting to clean out my cupboards of grains and baking ingredients - so in terms of diet, not much at all. I think my activity style lines up a little more.

                              Do you consume dairy: Yes.

Do you drink coffee or tea: Both.

Motivator for switching to Primal: I want to really thrive.

Favorite exercise: Walking and lifting heavy things.

Favorite Primal food: That's hard to say. Everything is pretty good.

Best part about being Primal: Since I haven't really dived in yet, I can't say definitively what the best thing is. However, I'm looking forward to feeling as awesome as all the people in the before/after stories report.

Worst part about being Primal: I'm not looking forward to any temporary inconveniences while ditching my grains.
