      Your location: Fort Worth, TX

      Age (If you want): 22

      How Primal are you: 90%

Do you consume dairy: Yes. Less than I used to. Cut out Ice cream and ultra-pasteurized anything.

Do you drink coffee or tea: Both. I try to drink more tea than coffee. I go for quality over quantity.

Motivator for switching to Primal: I ran across this website while trying to find workout routines and solid dietary advice. I've never been overweight, but I just want to be in the best shape I can be. The articles on this site were the most informative and research backed I had seen anywhere.

Favorite exercise: Handstand push up! It's one of the hardest, but it feels so rewarding for each rep you add. I'm all about body weight exercises.

Favorite Primal food: A big juicy medium-rare steak with a slab of butter and blue cheese crumbles on top.

Best part about being Primal: I never feel bloated after a meal! Just full.

Worst part about being Primal: It's hard to explain to others who don't want to really challenge the consensus on "healthy" foods. You really have to be searching with an open mind to end up here.

        First time here.

        Your location:Missouri

Age (If you want):54, married male and RN

How Primal are you:Just starting about 60% Primal

Do you consume dairy: Yes, Cheese and some milk with protein shake once or twice a week.

Do you drink coffee or tea: No coffee, Green Tea without sweetner

Motivator for switching to Primal: Weight Loss, Diabetes control

Favorite exercise: Right now 10 minute workout with 100 pushups a day. Will begain P90X in the next month

Favorite Primal food: Eggs and Bacon

Best part about being Primal:The alert feeling I have. No more mental fog or swollen ankles. Better health.

Worst part about being Primal: People that just don't it and want to be the food police. Otherwise there isn't a worst part.

Just a short note about my past history about a year ago I weighed in at 245 lbs and I'm 5'8". I am diabetic type II on a insulin pump. I was following my diabetic educators advice taking in 195 gms of carbs a day. I told her that I couldn't loose weight that way. But she didn't want to hear it. So I told matters into my hands at starting eating approx 30 gms of carb per meal and starting loosing weight. She had a fit and told me that I would rein my health. Currently my weight is 155 lbs (Ive lost 90lbs) my blood work is well within normal limits. I am no longer on a insulin pump or taking any insulin at all. My doctor told me to tell the diabetic educator to take a flying leap and continue what I'm doing. I feel better than I have in the last 20 years. People ask what diet I'm on and I tell them I'm not on a diet I've just changed my way of life and loving it.

              Your location: Wisconsin

              Age (If you want):24

How Primal are you: I'd say about 95%--I still eat ghee and raw goat cheese (I'm cutting out all other dairy d/t possible intolerance)

And I haven't had much time for exercising lately--but I try to work exercise into my daily life as much as possible, even if its just little things!

Do you consume dairy: see above

Do you drink coffee or tea: coffee once and awhile, tea more often (I like white, green and black tea and everything in between too! hehe)

Motivator for switching to Primal: Basically to be healthy, strong and beautiful ~_^ and also because I have multiple sclerosis, which I now know is probably caused by the SAD (gluten, casien, excess carbohydrates...)

Favorite exercise: Playing football, soccer, sprinting, swimming, biking, rollerblading, walking my dog Loki, ice skating...

Favorite Primal food: Hmmm...tough one...there aren't many foods I dislike! I DO love raspberries, strawberries, boysenberries, ghee, avocados, romaine lettuce, steak, burgers, taco salad, mushrooms, bacon, omlettes, spaghetti squash, jalepenos, kimchi, bul-gol-gi, sashimi, salmon with butter...OK, Ok, I'll stop now!

Best part about being Primal: Being healthy, feeling radiant and beautiful, having energy, eating what God intended for me to eat, and no MS relapses!!!!

Worst part about being Primal: cooking can be time consuming (I love cooking, but also work full time...bleahh..:P) and it can get a little pricey buying food (but I am DETERMINED to stick to our food budget this month!!!)

Oh, and no candy...LOL...I used to be a candy fiend! I really don't miss it nearly as much as I thought I would, though.

Meep. I should have done this a while ago...

                Your location: Aussieland (NSW, Australia)

                Age (If you want): 19

How Primal are you: I'd say 85%. I feel I still have a little personal trial and error to go through before I really get into a lifestyle groove.

Do you consume dairy: I do, but not in large amounts. I enjoy some yoghurt and a little ricotta/cottage cheese.

Do you drink coffee or tea: I'm a big tea person. I drink 2-3 cups of herbal tea daily (roiibos, dandelion, chamomile, white tea)

Motivator for switching to Primal: I grew up eating lots of (white) grains. My mother's asian and consumes white rice with just about every meal, while dad grew up with a very "baked beans on toast, meat & potatoes" background. I'm currently working through insulin resistance (it's milder now than what it was a few years ago) and there's a strong history of Diabetes 2 in my family. I want to take charge of my health and live a lifestyle that keeps my body healthy and free of the disease/disorder I'm "prone" to getting.

Favorite exercise: Swimming! Not competitive. I enjoy paddling around aimlessly for hours.

Favorite Primal food: Goji berries, fresh baby coconut, macadamias, avocado, pork and whole chicken roasted Oh, I was supposed to say one?

Best part about being Primal: It's back to basics!

Worst part about being Primal: I'd say social influences or food budgeting (even though it's worth it)

A little more about me, I'm in the Air Force currently going through training for the next 8 months. Next month I go off to Survival school, how's that for being primal? Haha, so I've been off and on about this style of eating. I've read half of the "Paleo diet" and it was great, but not as fun as reading Mark's "Primal Blueprint" which I've read through about halfway since the short days I've had it. I have to say, I love this book, very well put together and easier to read, while ironically providing more scientific facts. Either way I'm slowly converting to the primal lifestyle and enjoying it thus far. It's expensive, seeing as how I try to buy a good portion of my food from Whole Foods. I hope to learn a lot here, by the way my name is Jon for short.
