    Hi everyone!

    I originally gave the Primal way a go back at the beginning of the year and had some challenges with staying away from SAD foods. Turns out I was being silly and not eating enough meat. The only reason I can come up with is that I was so used to eating smaller portions of meat that I just wasn't getting enough fat to burn and was chronically hungry.

    I'm happy to report in just a little over a week or so I've made some adjustments and am really enjoying how my body is responding. Like a lot of people, I would love to lose weight quickly but I have no assumptions as far as speed goes. I continue to be amazed by how I have no desire for eating carbs. I started the transition slowly over last week and have implemented exercise this week and feel even better, although more sore I haven't slept this well in a long time and the increased energy levels I'm experiencing has really boosted my self confidence.

    Furthermore, reading Gary Taubes' Why We Get Fat, gave me a better understanding about nutrition's relationship to fat and it inspired me to take action.
