  • G'Day from Sydney, NSW, Australia

    Hi,

About two months back, I decided I neede to do something about my ever ballooning weight. I was a bit of an exercise junkie until I developed MS While it's not all that debilitating so far (fingers crossed), it has stopped me from doing anything remotely close to my former exercise levels (not that I want to after reading Mark's book).

Since my exercise stopped, but without the drop in carb intake, my weight creeped up and up.

Anyway, two months back, I dropped sugar (fructose) from my diet - with some very good results.
About one month ago, I went primal and the results just kept getting better.

    15 kg (33 lb) in 9 weeks.

Now, I'm ready to share with, and get some ideas from, many others. It'll be good to share on here as I'm actually quite stunned by the negative reactions I get when I say I've dropped sugar and gone primal - they think I have joined some weirdo cult.

    Anyway, here I go.

    Scott

    Welcome Scott

Have you heard of Dr Terry Wahls? She has substantially beaten MS with a strict diet

Four years Primal with influences from Jaminet & Shanahan and a focus on being anti-inflammatory. Using Primal to treat CVD and prevent stents from blocking free of drugs.

Eat creatures nose-to-tail (animal, fowl, fish, crustacea, molluscs), a large variety of vegetables (raw, cooked and fermented, including safe starches), dairy (cheese & yoghurt), occasional fruit, cocoa, turmeric & red wine

Welcome from a NSW girl! Congrats on ur fantastic early results!
Went Primal on 1st April 2012

      Since beginning Primal:
      - The stomach cramps I'd been having have vanished.
      - People comment that my skin is glowing.
      - I enjoy getting out of bed (most of the time)
      - I'm so excited by food.
