  • Howdy ya'll! A chick from Canada :)

    Hi everyone!

I'm Pat I found this site almost two years ago, and ate Primal on and off. But have been 100% Primal since late September due to some skin issues I'd been having for months that weren't going away. The occasional "wheat cheat" comes and goes...but man, do I ever pay for it!

I'm a huge foodie, love to cook, and love reading about health and nutrition, as we all do, or else we wouldn't be here I am planning on starting a food blog very, very soon.

This site has been a huge help and a huge boon to my health! I also just stopped smoking the ot-pay after many, MANY years, and have been clean for almost a month. I feel fantastic and finally feel in control of my health in a HUGE way.

I'm also interested in meeting other Primal/Paleo folks here who've had their gallbladder removed. Mine was sick for many, many years, and was misdiagnosed for that time. It was removed 1.5 years ago. Knowing what I know now, I wish I hadn't had it removed. But it's done. I take digestive enzymes with meals as a just-in-case. No idea if it's working or if it's placebo...but it doesn't hurt.

I'm on Twitter too. I love posting food porn pics and random tidbits blasting CV. If you're interested, pm me for my handle (not spamming, I SWEAR)

Thank you Mark, if you're reading this!

    So again I say...HI!

Coming to reply trout thread dice you replied to mine! Yay Canadians! Not much to add to our post since I am a newbie but I had my gallbladder removed almost a year and a half ago (nov 2010) and no problems with any food. No regrets getting that sucker out either. Made me sick sick sick.
