I maintain my weight by IF and would like to meet other people doing it

I don't IF much. Some time skip a meal. You might get more response in the Misc. forum.
    Ancestral Health Info

I design websites and blogs for a living. If you would like a blog or website designed by someone who understands Primal, see my web page.

Primal Blueprint Explorer My blog for people who are not into the Grok thing. Since starting the blog, I have moved close to being Archevore instead of Primal. But Mark's Daily Apple is still the best source of information about living an ancestral lifestyle.

I have only done an IF once over the last 2-3 weeks...I took advantage of "no appetite"...and did a one day IF. Felt Great!!!

So that you can not-eat together? Sounds like a blast.

why just for maintaining weight? Is it difficult to maintain weight?
For me, to reduce fat is much difficult.
Nothing you can't do once you believe that you can.

I use IF on a regular basis. I try to vary the times. Some days I eat around noon, sometimes by 2pm, other times I wait till 6pm. I also try to have days when I eat an early meal around 9am. Eating just one or two meals per day does seem to help me maintain or lose since I like to eat big when I eat.

because I'm already underweight, so I don't want to lose more

Much difficult to reduce fat it is. Consistency it takes.

                  Hi Aurora,

I have been practicing IF now for around 6 months to great effect. Combination of that, Primal eating and exercise has made a huge difference to my body constitution and ability to mainatin a steady and healthy weight.
Information on MDA and another site Intermittent fasting diet for fat loss, muscle gain and health I found really useful in terms of the science behind it and protocols/variations to follow.

Judging by the bony protrusions in your avatar, fasting is not for you. Buy two or three bags of sweet potatoes and eat them with every meal for a few weeks. You will feel stronger and stay warmer.
