    Hi all!

    I'm Allie and today is my first day going primal I'm so excited to begin this journey and to be inspired by everyone who's already on the way!

    I have a question also, if someone would be so kind...I'm worried about bulking up with this way of eating. I'm not very big to begin with (5'6, 123lbs) and my main aim is to decrease my body fat % and lose about 1.5 inches from my waist and thighs, etc. so my question is, how do I avoid adding muscle bulk?

    Hi there and welcome on board!
    I don't know how to avoid adding too much muscle but in general, people that are lacto-paleo, meaning they eat raw dairy including milk with their paleo/primal diet, tend to gain more muscle weight (and an extra layer of skin) than those that avoid it.

      Avoiding bulking up for a woman is as easy as not taking steroids. Really. Lifting heavy weights will help you get more toned. Eating well will get you healthy, not bulky.
