  • Tried my first LHT today - primal movements

    Did two sets of
    Level 2 push ups 40
    level 2 chin ups 12
    Level 3 squats 40
    Level 2 press 12
    Level 2 planks 90 45 45

    second set
    30-12-40-10-(45-30-40)

    Sweating like a sweat hog......need encouragement to stick with this.

    male 40 183.....not comfortable at 183 unless i turn into Mark then maybe hahahahaha

    Any tips to help?

    Focus on form first and progress next.
    Try not to get too hung up in numbers.
    Let yourself understand that progress will not always be as fast as you want.
    Some days will be better than others.
    Good sleep and good food will help all of the above.

            What drives me is how good you feel after doing a bodyweight set. I always feel better after a set and a shower - that's what gets me going when I get home from work at night, or first thing in the morning on a weekend.

              It gets better. Drink lots of water, or preferably fresh coconut water if you can swing it. I know it's hard to believe right now, but pretty soon you'll feel yucky if you miss your workouts.
