    Hi! I'm new here. Been doing atkins for quiet a long time on and off for years. Finally got it through my brain that I need to make a permanent change to my life.
    I've been reading Mark's Daily Apple for months gathering information.
    I"m hoping to become pregnant soon and want to have a healthy baby and I think this is the way to go. Gotta be better than the tubs of ice cream and chocolate cokes I had last time!
    Anyhow nice to meet you all!!
    Had no idea I was so weak till I started walking in October. Could barely make it around the block!
    Now can walk on the beach for hours.

      If your thinking about pregnancy Chris Kresser has been doing a lot of work on the subject lately and has info available on his site. I am sure people here can help too but figured this was good info to pass along since its specific to pregnancy.

        HI! wow thanks for the information. I've been reading up on everything I can get my hands on about lowcarb/primal pregnanacy.
        He actually has a free download of a book !! I've downloaded it.

            Thanks! I've been thinking about it for quite a while. I've been following the primal fittness for about 3 months now. I feel awesome!! I've managed to raise my weights almost every visit. Slow movement 2-5 hours a week. 10 min full throttle. Been walking barefoot on the beach in the evenings. A lot better than the boring treadmill at the gym.
            Working on getting rid of the garbage foods I've been eating on atkins. You know salami and bacon thats full of nitrates.
            Had no idea I was so weak till I started walking in October. Could barely make it around the block!
            Now can walk on the beach for hours.

                  I started out on Atkins many years ago, but Primal Blueprint was what it took for me to actually get healthy and solid. Welcome!

                    Thanks all feeling pretty solid. Read the primal fittness a few months ago and started following it. Still working of the full 10 min thing.
                    Today I managed 30-70lbs on my weight machines!! Was 10 50lbs. So I'm doing great. Havent lost weight in a long time. I'm hopin its due to the muscle I've gained.
                    Had no idea I was so weak till I started walking in October. Could barely make it around the block!
                    Now can walk on the beach for hours.
