Hi all. I've been reading the site for days so I thought I'd register.
I cut out processed foods about 2 years ago - my blood sugar and weight were starting to concern me - and that helped. Then I mostly cut out grains and other carby stuff. I lost about 25 lbs in the process.
I am more suited to Primal than just low carb because you can eat a lot of low carb crap, and I figure if I'm not going to poison myself with sugar, I probably shouldn't do it with chemicals either. Real food for me.
I'm very sensitive to sweet and salty things now. I don't really sweeten anything, even with Stevia anymore.
I'm excited about a new way of working out, and really keeping buckled down on eating stuff I shouldn't. I've been doing a pretty good job.
I do drink rather a lot of milk (mostly in the form of Kefir which I make myself), but I get it raw from a family farm 15 minutes from my house.
Other than that, I eat almost all Primal.
