Hi, everybody! My name is Jessica, and I have been following MDA for awhile. Just recently I started to read these forums, and I'm so impressed by the sense of true commmunity here! It has made me feel like this is something I can actually do.
At 25 (almost 26), I have been overweight my entire life. Any time I have embraced "diets," I have seen varying degrees of success, but ultimately failed. This approach seems so much more sane and rational, and just makes sense! I am so excited to start living the PB, and to see the changes that will take place.
I will be starting October 1 (Thursday), for simplicity in tracking. However, I plan to fast most of tomorrow, eating primal foods if the fasting plan fails. So I guess, technically, I'm starting tomorrow, but not counting it? Or I'm starting right now, mentally! =)
