  • Hello from Switzerland

    Hi all

I just wanted to introduce myself, although I am reading this Forum and Marks Blog for months now and therefore do not feel really "new".

As said I am from Switzerland and 22 years old. I do not really want to loose weight or change a lot in my body but I used to eat so so so many sweet things that I decided it's really time for a change. At the moment I do eat my dinner and lunch mostly primal (meat and vegetables or fish and vegetables) whereas I still snack unhealthy sweets and my breakfast is still some rice.
I love eggs and diary but I eat them rarely because I can't really digest them.

For exercising I do a lot of material arts, go running and I love bodyrock.tv - especially if I do not have time for a long workout.

Finally I want to say sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes in advance

    All the best
    Kearney

Oh no - I do not like skiing ;-) I am not into winter sports, I prefer really warm weather. And skiing in Switzerland is really expensive as well ;-)

Geneva is a lovely place - was a good choice :-p

Hey, I used to live in Basel as a child through age 13. !! Before you were born though. Attended Hirzbrunnen, Blaesi, and Beaumlihof schools. Same here - never touched skis while living there. Too expensive and a tiny bit elitist haha. Basel struck me as a more working class city with lots of immigrants, and industrial roots that go back to the middle ages. Wow, flashback. "Z'Basel an my'm Rhy, Yo dort moecht y si...."

Thank you very much for your warm welcome. I didn't really expected that so many of you know Basel or have already been there. And the "Basel a my'm Rhy" made me laughing out loud :-)

Hi. I've been to Basel just a few weeks back. It was really nice.
                      Cheers from Leipzig
