Our family of three goes through about 4 dozen eggs per week. I get my eggs delivered from a local "hobby" farm, so I know these hens get the chance to run around in the sunshine, chase (and eat!) grasshoppers, other bugs and grasses, and otherwise live the omnivorous life that is more natural to them (ckickens are *not* vegetarian). Oh yes! Our family of three goes through about 4 dozen eggs per week.
