Mark…this might be the best interview I have heard you give. Incredibly eloquent. It is nice that you weren’t rushed.

As you may or may not know, there has been a huge controversy in the Crossfit community concerning Rob Wolff and HQ; with Crossfit taking the public stance that Barry Sear’s Zone is hands down a better plan than Paleo/Primal. I thought your interview was a great opportunity to provide an alternate viewpoint (complete with a timely mention of your education background).

Great interview! Timely considering what’s going on with nutrition in the CrossFit community. People should really go back and read or re-read what you’ve written about diet and dogma. Keep up the great work.

I’ve been a Crossfiter since 2007, and have made increasingly better food choices since then. But I just recently, after reading your book, finally cut out grains completely!

I’ve already noticed a difference in my belly, which of course was the one little area that I couldn’t get rid of EVEN though I only have 10-14% body fat!

I love what you said about grains in this interview, and how none of us eat them without toppings (butter on bread, sauce on spaghetti, etc.)
