Way back on August 7 at the beginning of the Primal Blueprint Health Challenge I asked you to show your groceries. (Luckily no one was confused and thought I meant shouting groceries.) It was great to get a glimpse into the lives of other PBers and to be able to attach faces to names in the MDA community. So thanks to everyone for sending in your photos!
Take a look below to see happy, healthy families living the Primal lifestyle all over the globe. But first a little official business…
I held a random drawing to determine a winner and the lucky recipient of 5lbs of Kenia River Sockeye Salmon is…
It’s another picture-fest! In our ongoing week of reader created content, and following up reader-submitted breakfast photos and lunch photos, we’ve got pics of your Primal fridges.
I should point out that many of the emails I received noted that their fridges aren’t entirely Primal. Some are just taking the first steps toward becoming Primal. Others live with roommates that have different dietary habits. And still others have spouses or family members that adhere to the SAD or some other eating plan.
Whatever the case may be it’s still fun to peek behind the fridge door to see what other Groks are chowing on. Who knows? Maybe you’ll get a few new meal ideas in the process.
But first a little official business. The winning fridge pic, chosen at random, was sent in by…
On August 10 I announced the Primal Post-Its contest. I imagined a few of the creative types would submit some Photoshop creations, and a handful of others would go out into the field to poke fun at CW. Instead I received nearly 500 submissions! Some of the entries are downright hilarious. Others do a great job of defining in a humorous way elements of the Primal lifestyle. While still others shed light on the pervasive misinformation we are plagued with in modern society.
Thanks to everyone for submitting your Primal Post-Its. Due to the sheer number of entries I haven’t managed to publish each and every one of them. Instead I’ve picked, what are in my opinion, the cream of the crop. It’s up to you to decide which of my top-10 favorites wins this contest. I’ve also included a long list of honorable mentions.
This poll only goes until 8 am (PST) tomorrow, so place your vote now! Click “Keep Reading” below to view the Primal Post-Its.

Last week I asked you to send in pics of your Primal breakfasts. Nearly 100 fantastic photos flooded my inbox. I’ve included them all below. (Click on the thumbnails for full size versions.)
These photos stand to represent the variety of breakfasts on the Primal eating plan and how delicious Primal foods are. I know many people find the breakfast to be the most difficult meal to figure out when making the transition to the Primal lifestyle. Many of us grew up on Frosted Flakes, Pop Tarts, English muffins, waffles, pancakes and toaster strudels as early morning staples. As you can see, it doesn’t have to be that way.
Revisit this page from time to time for Primal breakfast ideas, and point skeptical friends and family to this page to see their mouths water.
I’ve randomly selected a winning photo. The lucky MDA reader that submitted the photo has just won 5 gallons of fat from U.S. Wellness. Yes, you read that right. 5 gallons of fat – beef tallow to be precise. And the lucky winner is…
So you’ve decided to join the challenge. You’ve created your own Primal Challenge Journal and have publicly stated your goals for the next month. Now what? First things first. You have to know the basics. If you’re new to the Primal Blueprint the following article will be like gold to you. Revisit it again and again until you’ve committed the concepts to memory. The graphs and charts are visual representations of the principles that are at the core of the Primal health philosophy and give you a taste of what it is in my new book, The Primal Blueprint.
You’ve defined the “what”. If your goal is to lose weight, build muscle, increase energy or just generally look and feel healthier these graphics explain the basics of the “how”.
What’ll It Be? The “Sweet Spot” or the “Danger Zone”?
