Car Safety Hack
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Here’s a great safety hack I picked up recently: adjust your car mirrors to capture more of the blind spots. From the authors:
“For years, we’d been setting our side-view mirrors so that they gave us a view of the back corner of our cars. This is the way it’s been done for generations - from grandfather, to father, to us! But we finally discovered something very interesting. The back corner of the car never moves. It always stays in the same exact place. So there’s really no reason to keep an eye on it.
By moving the side mirrors farther out, you can line up all three of your mirrors so they have minimal overlap — and you can see everything behind you and beside you.â€
Duh! Why aren’t we all doing this? I’ve tried it and it works great. Visit the site for the downloadable pdf that includes easy steps and a visual guide (you’ll need it to do this properly).

Ah, yes, you could do this. Or you could buy a convertible and have no blind spots at all!
I prefer the convertible Walden, or I guess you could just ride one of them motor bikes. noted
The best thing about a mirror is that we have a head that turns and can check the blindspot. before making any changes. The mirror is just a device to help us keep an eye on traffic coming up on us. It is not the only source that we should use for driving.
Even on the motorbike there are blind spots in the mirror.
