We’d love to hear what you would like us to write about. Though we hardly have a tough time finding something to voice our opinion about we are always interested in what our readers want, so drop us a line in the comment boards. And as per our “Dear Mark” series of posts we began this year, the topic can be personal. So what are you waiting for? You’ve just been offered free personalized health advice! Hit us up with a comment. Have a wonderful weekend!

I just wanted to throw out a little tip for reader’s that use Firefox. There is a great extension available for it called Scrapbook. Instead of bookmarking a post, you can use scrapbook to save it to your hard drive. It will recreate a web page just as you viewed it, and you can even have it drill down to include links found in the page up to several levels. Try it–you’ll like it!
I wish we could edit our posts. Change “Their” to “There.”
I’d be very interested in reading about the different nutritional needs of average folk versus athletes. For instance do we need more protein or just more calories overall? Are there foods or nutrients that are especially beneficial to the athlete? What is a good pre-training or pre-competition meal? Should the diet of a female athlete differ greatly from the diet of a male athlete?
If it matters, I’m (another) roller derby girl. I train 3-4 times a week and am in good weight and health.
Thanks for the questions, speedingwaif! Check back for future “Dear Mark” articles currently being published on Mondays. Mark will try to answer all of these questions soon.
If anyone else has questions for Mark or content suggestions feel free to let us know. Thanks everyone!
