Oh, wow. Katie, how do you come up with this stuff? (At first I thought the pies were FILLED with bacon fat….they sound much tastier now that I know that’s not the case!)

I have a loved one in my life who would be forever grateful if I made these 🙂

I have to agree. I’ve come across chocolate bars with bacon bits in them before… they were amazing. I bet it would have worked fantastically with the pies too! The tiny bit of saltiness they add gives things a nice new dimension.
