Yes, I have read it. I think it’s probably the single best piece written on the history of nutrition research. I agree with most of what Taubes has to say. It should be required reading by every MD in the world. I have also followed with interest the discourse - if you can call it that - between Colpo, Eades and others over the “calorie is a calorie is a calorie” question (which I bet you have too, Simon) and I tend to agree with Taubes on that one as well. Carb calories probably do count more when it comes to weight gain and loss.
I believe you asked this a few days ago, but I couldn’t decipher to whom the question was directed. Sorry…
