Aila’s Goals: “Okay, taking a big deep breath and sending this off… This is Aila, age 48, 5’2″, current weight 203.2 (I started PB at 233). My personal goal for 2012 is to continue to work toward my goal weight of 110. In particular, my goal is to increase my overall fitness, including strength and flexibility. I have joined the 2012 Pull Up Challenge on the Forum! And of course, to continue to make the 10 Primal Blueprint laws more ingrained in my daily existence. I will keep up with my journal and those of other wonderful people on the Forum, too. Thanks for this great idea for a Community, Accountability and New Year Challenge! I’m grateful for all the amazing support here at MDA! Here’s to a great year!”
Update 04/07/12: This is Aila, and I am so happy to send my April progress pics! This pic is taken on April 7, 2012, almost exactly three months after the first pic. I’m at 184.6 here, down almost 20lbs since January, and almost 50lbs since I started!
I have been planning to do progress pics in essentially the same outfit for ease of comparison, and at first I thought that it didn’t show as much improvement as I see and feel, but I think when contrasted with the earlier pic you can see that my arms are now much closer to my sides, and there is a lot less of my neck, too!! Still some rolls around the middle, but my weight loss is steady and easy, and I’m absolutely committed to going the distance. Can’t wait till July pics!!
