Mark’s Daily Apple
A Blog that Helps People Achieve Health and Wellness
So what is MDA?
An active community of active people that want to be healthy in the simplest way possible – by following the direction of our evolutionary biology.
A forum for investigating new research into health, nutrition and fitness – whether it supports or challenges our underlying philosophy.
A viable counterpoint to the Conventional Nutritional Wisdom that inundates our country – and that has resulted in climbing levels of diabetes and our reputation as the world’s most obese nation.
A blog dedicated to exploring, promoting, and justifying the Primal Blueprint – that set of simple instructions explaining how to control your genes and get the healthiest, strongest, leanest body possible by taking cues from the lifestyles, diet, and behavior of our early human ancestors.
What can you find at MDA?

Why I do this:
Ultimately, I intend to use this space to empower people to take full responsibility for their own health and enjoyment of life by investigating, discussing, and critically rethinking everything we’ve assumed to be true about health and wellness.
At MDA, we vociferously defend, question, probe, support, refute, and bolster the Primal Blueprint with science, careful observations, and personal experience. The Blueprint is pragmatic, rather than dogmatic; beautifully simplistic, rather than terribly complex. We don’t count calories – we listen to our bodies while keeping an ear to cutting-edge research.
If you’re interested in challenging long-held assumptions, simplifying your lifestyle, and seizing control of your health, take a bite out of Mark’s Daily Apple.
