It’s time for you to decide another winner! At the start of this 30-Day Challenge I put out a call for Primal Blueprint Recipe Videos. MDA readers got right to work. As a result, YouTube has never seen better looking food.
As you might imagine, my crew and I had a tough time narrowing the field. We lost nights of sleep, shed many tears and cursed our duty of having to eliminate so many great videos from the running. And in the end we held a blind vote. To everyone that didn’t make the cut, many thanks from myself and (yes, I’ll take the liberty) the MDA community for your contributions.
Before the vote, a recap of what’s at stake:
Beef Jerky – Chef’s Choice starter pack of grass fed beef jerky, courtesy of Slant Shack Jerky.
The Sous Vide Supreme, the Vacuum Sealer, the Alaskan Salmon, the Grass Fed Jerky, and a bag of coconut. Who receives this Primal prize package is up to you. Watch the videos below and then make your vote count.

A signed poster! You can frame it. You can laminate it. You can bend it and wear it as a hat. In times of emergency you can fold it into a flotation device for a small mammal, perhaps a hamster. And most importantly, you can hang it on the wall of your kitchen, your study, your hall, dining room, lounge, library, ballroom, billiard room, or conservatory. You can’t put a price tag on the information provided on this poster. And while, technically, I did put a price tag on it ($14.95 at www.PrimalBlueprint.com, order now!), this poster is signed, and my signature has been known to fetch upward of five million dollars (see note at bottom) in certain online auction houses. If you already have a poster, sleep well at night knowing that I still have over a thousand dollars worth of merch to give away in the next four days.
The Primal chef responsible for this delicious recipe is the winner of the Primal Iron Chef Contest. With over 120 amazing coconut recipe submissions the competition was fierce. Honestly, just about any one of the recipes entered could have won. Needless to say, determining a winner was tough. My crew and I read every post, salivated over every photo and actually prepared a few of the shortlisted recipes. In the end the winner had to have a great coconut-inspired recipe, an engaging article and nice photos to boot. This one fit the bill on all accounts. Congrats to MDA reader Greg for winning this contest, and a HUGE thanks goes out to each and every person that contributed a recipe. Thanks again and Grok on!
Outside of being stranded on Gilligan’s Island, most Americans won’t ever come close to cooking with coconut, other than perhaps macaroons or cupcake frosting (<-how SAD). Well, we of the Grok tribe know that simply won’t do.
At the start of this 30-Day Challenge I put out a call for Primal Blueprint Fitness Videos. And you responded with nearly a dozen top-notch clips. Boiling the submissions down to the top three was no easy task. My crew and I discussed at length what made up a good fitness video. Was it fun and entertaining? Was the workout something we can see ourselves doing? Did it inspire and keep us watching? How well did it represent Primal Blueprint Fitness? On and on. In the end we held a blind vote and ended up with the following three picks. To everyone that didn’t make the cut, many, many thanks for taking the time to put together an amazing contribution to this year’s 30-Day Challenge.
Now, for a recap of what’s at stake:
A Rope - Undulation ropes, courtesy of CalRopes.
That’s it. A spear, a mace, a sandbag, and undulation ropes. It’s an impressive package of Primal gear I’m sure any one of these contestants would love to win. Watch the videos below and then make your vote count.

Nut Butters. Forget peanut butter. Premier Organics makes the good stuff. Their Artisana line includes almond butter, walnut butter, pecan butter, macadamia nut butter, cashew butter, and the singularly wild coconut butter (warm it slightly and it becomes a gooey mouth-spooning indulgence). Winner will receive 10 on the go pouches (one of each variety), and three full jars; one each of almond, macadamia, and coconut butters.
Fermented Vegetable Juice. Yes, you heard right. Zukay, the folks who donated the delightfully tasty salad dressings last year are back with a new brew. Called Kvass (not to be mistaken with the weak and useless bread juice), these are sugarless, tangy juices derived from fermented beets, carrots, and other veggies. Winner will receive a six pack of Veggie Kvass drinks in his or her choice of flavor.
Read all the rules before entering.
Have a topic, subject, or good idea for a blog post on MDA? Now’s your chance to suggest it. In the comments section below, leave a title for a future post on Mark’s Daily Apple.
That’s pretty much it. Tell me what you’d like to see covered on MDA with just the article title, and do it with as much creativity and cleverness as you can. I’ll pick a winner and will use submissions for future MDA article ideas.
Who is Eligible:
Because these are consumable/potable, only US residents can win them. In the case of an international winner, a substitute prize will be awarded.
