Balance should be #1 because everything depends on it. Awesome list, I bookmarked and will try to abide by it to create healthy aging habits.

Thanks!

Interesting. The closer I get to my "Golden Years" and watch the US economy go down the toilet it makes me afraid that I won't even have enough of the money I scrimped and saved to afford a single wide 90 miles out of L.A. All of this is pie in the sky if you don't have the resources to live. Depressing but there are millions of people in this country like me. Social Security has effectively been gutted and lets face it, SSI and interest income. unless you are lucky enough to have banked a couple mil., is pretty grim. Think that might be a reason for premature aging?

I have known old people praise themselves for out living their contemporaries. And I have seen the grim reaper have the last laugh with them.

Eat, drink, be merry.

The last 10 years of your life will be filled with much pain and suffering. You become a burden to your children. You become a mueling pucking old fart that eats and sleeps and commands the care of younger people.

No one escapes death.

I say eat, drink, and be merry.

You will not be missed when you are dead. And you will not miss anything when you are dead.

Birth and Death are as natural as day and night. Both are inevitable.
