I was in the convenience store biz for awhile and we always kept a container of salt by the coffee bar. We would fill the carafes half-way with ice, add some salt, swirl, and rinse! Thanks for the list! Clean greasy pans with a paper towel and salt. Salt and lemon juice removes mildew. Add a pinch of salt to whipping cream to make it whip more quickly.
